Kenton Update

Kenton will be 8 months old in 5 days!!! Time flies. He got his first two teeth in last week and is now picking up little treats and putting them in his mouth and chewing. He still doesn't like to roll over on the floor but when he is sitting in someones lap, he rolls all over the place and works his way around wherever he can get to. I don't know what it is that he don't like about doing it on the floor. He also loves to try to move big objects now. The other night he was pushing and scooting a toy that he has. He was pulling it back to him once when the leg of the toy caught the ground and tipped over on him and knocked him over. That same night he was sitting in his chair on our kitchen table and I saw him gab a hold of one of our table chairs and scoot it around. It is amazing how fast they grow up!

Fall Happenings

Last week Kenton got dedicated along with two other babies at church. The others are Elly and Chris Geyer's baby and Leighanne's high school classmate's baby. Tuesday night Leighanne decided to have a meal on our china. She made Dana's caesar pork chops with wild rice and peas, which made for one great meal! Tonight we were cleaning up the leaves in our yard and Kenton got to have some fun in the leaves!

Kenton not only says Momma.......he also calls for his Dada! It amazing how fast he is starting to talk and realize what he is saying! Last night we put him back to bed at 11:00 and had to let him cry it out. The next thing I know, Rod comes into the kitchen holding Kenton. Rod couldn't resist Kenton's calling for us from the crib. Momma!!! Dada!!! This made for one excited Daddy!
