Fun with Kenton

Potty Update

Kenton continues to use the potty twice or three times every day with the exception of yesterday when we were at Grandma and Grandpa Farwell's house. He knows he gets a marshmallow every time he goes and he has that figured out. Sometimes he will start fussing and reaching for the marshmallows after he goes! He is a big boy!

Language Update

Yes....my baby is talking! His vocabulary is really growing and he copies syllables of words we say to him.

Here are all the words he can say:

• Momma
• Dadda
• Car (Kaw)
  
• Duck

• Kenton (eeeehhhh toooonnnn)
• And referring to his friend Colter (Kaa)
  

I'm A BIG Boy!

That's right....potty training has started at our house, and Kenton is a Pro! The first time we sat Kenton on "his" potty, he actually went! He got so excited, as did Rod and I! In fact, he went on the potty twice that day! For being such a good boy, Kenton got a fruit flavored marshmallow, a real treat! This morning, I brought Kenton in to the bathroom with me and sat him down on his potty chair to "try" while I washed my hair. To my surprise, I found a poo and some potty! (He got another marshmallow) It is so cute when he actually does something on the potty because he gets all excited by clapping and making silly noises when he goes.

Way to go Kenton Lee! Mommy and Daddy are proud of you!

And finally on to Chicago

Leighanne's Grandpa drove us into Chicago on Saturday. It is an hour drive from their house. Alot of these pictures probably look alot liked Nolan and Katie's pictures from their trip to Chicago because we went to alot of the same places. We went to Ed Debevics which was alot of fun and also went on top of the Sears Tower.

On to Elburn, IL

After visiting Nolan and Katie in Iowa, we went on to Elburn, IL to visit Leighanne's Grandparents. We also got to see Leighanne's Uncle Brian, Uncle Jeremy, and cousin Paige.
